On September 12th 2024, X Nordic Travel Contest is hosting a session on how technology can break down barriers and hospitality for neuro-divergent people at TechBBQ.
Did you know that 20-25% of the world’s population is considered neurodivergent? And did you also know that according to a survey by EventWell® 85% of neurodivergent event attendees will opt out of attending an event for fear of becoming triggered, overwhelmed, or unwell?
As the project is entering the problem accelerators phase, the X Nordic Travel Contest is exploring neuro inclusivity as part of making Nordic tourism futures more sustainable and competitive. The project aims to build a more just and equal experience for all travellers, regardless of their brain function.
If you are curious about neuro inclusivity in the travel industry, join us at TechBBQ on September 12, 12:30 – 14:00 , where we will be exploring questions like:
What does the first autism-certified destination in the world look like? With Alison Brooks from Visit Mesa
